About NHC

New Hair Clinic

New Hair Clinic has since 1992 been working with hair transplants that give our patients hair back for real.

No artificial hair, not someone else’s hair, but his own hair that continues to grow throughout their lives. To get your own natural growing hair back too many people to be whole again. Self-image is restored, and they often feel much better. This is our reward and motivation.
New Hair Clinic in Lund have made hair transplants since 1992, first with the Strip method, and since 2004 also with the FUE method. We are a clinic with complete records to treat both male hair loss and female hair loss. Since 2011, New Hair Clinic is also on Nybrogatan 75 in Stockholm.

Hair loss

The following text is a broad introduction. Read the like in preparation if you intend to go to someone to discuss your hair loss. Then you know a little what it is about, and get more out of your meeting.

You must take personal responsibility for your eventual decision, and it requires a certain amount of knowledge.
I would now turn primarily to you, perhaps via a stray comment suddenly begun to focus on your hair. Or maybe you have seen the failure of the vacation picture, where one turns to the back of the head, and discovered that the guy with the beginnings of a “moon” is – you.
It is customary to then simultaneously start focusing on hair loss: Should you find this many hairs in the comb or in the sink for washing hair? And how does it look in your family? You’ve probably heard that hair loss and hair thinning, especially in men, often inherited. So this is a fate only to find himself in, or you can do something about it?

Orentreich – the man behind the hair transplantation

In Japan it was known how to transplant hair follicles from the head to other parts of the skin prior to World War II

The intervention was done as part of restructuring after such burns. They were adept at building new eyebrows, and also described their methods in Japanese journals. But because of the war came to dwell in the 1950′s, before Western medicine discovered the Japanese findings. An American surgeon, Orentreich, usually regarded as the modern hårtransplantationens father. The groundbreaking was to Orentreich knew that the hair at the temples and in the lower half of the back of the head are not affected by the inherited male hair loss, and that this hair retain the property even if the hair follicle moves up on the crown. Previously it was thought that it was pointless to take hair from the neck, because it assumed that it would not pass “on the bald head.”
